The establishment of the Global Institute of Medical Sciences Peshawar is an initiative undertaken by professionals who have long history of contributing to allied health sciences and generic nursing in the province. The institute was established in 2024 with the aim to provide an excellent environment for training in rehabilitation, nursing, surgical, dental,radiology, anesthesia and health sciences.

The institute has well-equipped Labs and Skills Labs, a library with a variety of books for generic nursing, laboratory sciences, dental sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Anesthesia Sciences, surgical sciences. The library have access to HEC digital library where students have access to thousands of electronics books. The institute has a computer lab where students have access to fast internet services. The institute has sufficient alternate power backup to provide uninterrupted power supply to the building.

Memorandum of Understanding with Govt Naseerullah khan Babar hospital & Alkhidmat Hospital for hospital practical trainings for our students. Following the well-known saying ‘a sound body has a sound mind’, students of the institute are provided with both indoor and outdoor sporting facilities. For this purpose, an GIMS celebrating sport gala events at the sport complex is in place which allows students of GIMS to perform different sporting events at the complex. At the moment, the institute offers admission in BS Dental technology DPT, BS Anesthesia, BS Radiology, BS Health, BS Surgical Technology and BS Generic Nursing further the institute will enhance its seats and expand its departments in allied health sciences in near future.
